PMS pain crazy how-to avoid tips & random stuff LIBRESSE

Hello beautiful people

Today I went to the AEON mall to find what I saw in http://www.plusizekitten.com post..Thanks to her for sharing:). I admit that I'm totally a sucker for cute, adorable things that sometimes can't sleep for days if I can't find the thing that I have my eyes on! And thanks to my bf and my family that always bare with my insaneness towards everything I'm into ;) I'm always appreciative with every kindness that given to me by everyone and I'm learning to give back more. Alhamdulillah.. :)

So here's what I bought...
Tada...Libresse Super Cute Tin Container with included pads! for only RM1.90 each and with 6 choices of design. For only RM1.90, I decided to bought all designs. 

They included about 5 pads samples with different kind of size and with or without wings. I think it was definitely a good deal. This is the way to attracts buyer I suppose especially crazy shopper like me :P.. 
And a good way to tryout samples isn't it?
I always have been using Libresse as it's made from cotton and without the gel thingy. It's easier for cleaning I suppose. The pad designs are also cute. And not forgetting the super creative Ads they've always shows on TV! Super hilarious and out of the box kind of Ads.
OVERALL SATISFACTION: OUT OF 5

I apologized for blabbering too much on other random stuff, but I guess Libresse and PMS do kind of related isn't?

PMS which stands for Premenstrual Syndrome, is something that most of girls facing when they're going to have their periods soon.  It usually happen about one to two weeks before actual 'bleeding' occurred.
I usually felt most of all symptoms like bloating, cramping, tenderness, aching and stuff. Luckily nowadays, I'm a little bit at ease. I'm not sure what particular routine that I'm doing that makes it less but basically, I just want to share what I do to avoid PMS symptoms or at least lessens it. 


Although I'm in Medical field, I honestly dislike taking medication not because of it's bitter tastefulness or cannot swallow but of it's long- term effects. As some of you may or may not know, any chemical or even natural herbs uses kidney and liver to process, and overtime, it might be damage due to certain traces in the drugs that we consume. Hence, I prefer the natural ways drug free method. But, I do encourage my patient to take drugs to help reduce disease symptoms such as high blood pressure or high glucose in Diabetic patients.

Moving on to my How -to
1) Exercise - or at least moderately do activities, don't be lazy. I frankly do  not have staple routine exercise but I move around a lot during work, when I'm not working I rather do How- to no.2 which is.

2) Have a good sleep/ rest/ avoid stress - I try to get a nice 8 hours of sleep to have a well- rested body, if I can't sleep, I try doing something less stressful like watching movie or blogging or whatever makes you happy and relax. Even praying or meditating helps.

3) Take healthy meals - I don't really stick to this rules, but I do admit when I reduce my fast foods intake my PMS is less painful. But if you can, do avoid at least 2 weeks before your menstrual periods. Takes a lot of greens and grains , moderate proteins and smaller amount of sugar, caffeine and oily stuff.

4) Take supplement - Most famous PMS supplement is of course EPO (Evening PrimRose). The beneficial of taking EPO includes :

  • Relieve the discomforts of PMS, menopause, menstruation, endometriosis and fibrocystic breasts
  • Ease the joint pain and swelling of rheumatoid arthritis
  • Prevent diabetes-associated nerve damage
  • Reduce the symptoms of eczema
  • Help treat acne and rosacea
  • Combat damage from multiple sclerosis
  • Treat Alzheimer's-related memory deficiencies
  • Counter impotence and female infertility
  • Nourish nails, scalp, and hair
  • Prevent alcohol withdrawal symptoms

I do  not have any specific brands recommendations but do search for the best quality and deals. Other than that, I'm also taking some Vitamin C for immune system and Virgin Coconut Oil as supplements.

5)  Next is applying warming pad to abdomen or lower back. Warming effects encourage blood circulation and reduce pain sensation.

Lastly, if natural methods does not work on you, do seek for consultation. PMS is not something you take lightly. Sometimes extreme PMS experience may be due to underlying hidden cause.
