GSC Horror Fest! My thoughts/spoiler on Rigor Mortis, Second Sight AND Insidious 2 + GRAB SURPRISE BOX NOW!

Hello the beauties and the spookies!:)
How's your day? Today post is kinda a weekend recap and movies review. I'm am over the moon when I got this invitation to the #GSC Horror Fest ! Thanks a lot lot lot Nuffnang and of course Churp2 for having the greatest horror event of them all...I mean..I don't really celebrate Halloween, but I remembered in kindergarten I went to an international school, not in Malaysia..I dressed up like a fairy princess. That's about the memory of celebrating Halloween! I don't really like spooky scary stuff because I'm such a scaredy people. But I wanna challenged myself to enjoy the day and guess what? I stayed the whole night! and had few nightmares day after :P

Nuffnang and Churp2 had collaborate with GSC 1Utama to held this spookiest event! It was a night of horror movie marathon and loads more! I wasn't expecting this at all! They said to dress scary but I went in the middle not too scary and not too safe. So I choose to wear red! and got a devil horns to go with it ! OK...Moving on to the event, after picking up tickets at the counter, I could already see some of them dressing like a pro ghost! we also get to own a really neat door gifts which I'll be showing later on.

The most unexpected was the food!!

I couldn't get enough photos of the food though ,because everyone was going towards the yummy food like a zombie! As I can recalled they have meatloaf, hot dogs, fish ball that looks like an eyeballs, sandwiches that looks like coffin, cheese cracker, yummy pudding, cupcakes and also green beverage.

and mee that looks like yucky slimy worms! and that scary head was made with meatloaf! How mind blowing was that??

They also had makeup and tattoo booth which flooded with people doing all sorts of face paintings. 

I guess I'm not daring enough to make my face scary. 

Even scarier that they have life scary character from Carrie (it almost seems like my scary sister) and Rigor Mortis twin sisters wandering around.

Thumbs up for the ghost because really stay in character! 

I was trying so hard to do like an evil face or something but turns out like a poker face and smiley faces.

There's soo many spots that decorated with spiders web and Halloween stuff! It's ridiculous!

We had a lot of fun! After foods and being a camwhore, we get to finally watch the movies!

Let me share my thoughts on all the movies I get to watch.

The first one was Rigor Mortis, I'm assuming it was a Hong Kong movie. The hero was a Hong Kong actor that somehow lost his family for unknown reason (or I'm not sure) , went to a village and stay in room 2442. He tried to kill himself there out of misery and grieving but got saved by an uncle that related to a monk. Room 2442 was haunted by the twin sisters which died in a tragic incidents. The hero recover after being saved but the auntie (lives in the village too)who used to be a happy person lose his husband and try to get back her husband by seeking help from an evil monk, which turns the auntie husband into Chinese zombie and it goes deeper to a complicated kind of twist that I myself were confused at that time. All I can say it was more to kung-fu action movie and not too scary for someone sissy like me.

Then moving on to the next movie The Second Sight, this is a Thailand movie. I thought Thai movie would be horrified. However, I'm just horrified to see it's not scary at all. It's kind of a drama/movie genre. The title itself is literally what's it's all about. In this movie, the main character is a person that have the ability of seeing something related to death in other person before it happens. This movie also relating to the word Karma where he can see things but unable to breaks the rules of the universe. At a point in his life he decided to break the rules and deserve what should come to him. This movie tries to create positive message by applying Karma to life. and again, I don't think it's too scary because at times, this movie tries to include element of comedy and that's just doesn't fit to a horror movie or at least not for me.

Last but not least, the movie I've been waiting for; Insidious 2. I have seen Insidious 1 and being 'penakut' as I am, I often avoid horror movie, but this one is a must watch! Why? Simply because it's really a story that is out of the box with all this projection ability and I'm proud to say that this is a Malaysian production! In Insidious 1, it is more to an introduction of what is projection ability all about but in Insidious 2, they start revealing whose the evil face behind all this horrific event..To me, it's even scarier than The Conjuring because it got more story to it and more heart attacking scenes. It is a combination of fantasies and logical events. I'm giving two thumbs up for this movie because my boyfie also screams during this movie though it was a once time, he never ever gets scare of anything, this is definitely a great movie!

I'm soo happy to bring all the goodies home! and I'm happy that my makeup turns up great! Thanks to +Carli Bybel for the inspirations! Can't wait for next year ;)

I also love that I won this Churp2 Birdie! Thanks a lot! It adds up to my collection. I know I'm big enough but all of this have sentimental values to me...So let me keep it for a while..ok?
