{TECH REVIEW} Ninetology U9 X1 VS Samsung S3

Hello beauties! or shall I say Hello handsomes...I know it's not my forte to talk about tech stuff considering I'm not so into gadget as I'm before. But yeah..Gadget thingy has always been my interest when actually I'm into a lot of things..I can love both girlish and boyish stuff. It's just simply the best of both world for me...

Recently I've been contacted by representative of Ninetology asking if I'm interested to do a blog post on their latest prods with no string attached..Meaning...I've been given to loan both phone...I'm not getting payed to promote anything and I will only says as my own opinion. Hence, expect nothing more than a brutal honest opinion from me. Thanks also to my bro +mohd syazani bin rusli Rusli and my boyfie helping me understand gadgets in terms of the system and complicated thingy. Most of my review are from my bro^-^ so if any question, you may ask him..

Ok..let's just get into the main point...

Introducing Ninetology U9 XI

Based on what I've been browsing on, this phone keyword of it's existence is to be modern and style.

APPEARANCE

And comparing to Samsung S3

The sizes are not much differs and most exactly alike even the function buttons on the sides are at the same positions.

The front view, S3 have their logo written whereas U9X1 is just plain black which seems slick and simple but having logo in front makes it seems much more commercial. I'm 50-50 based on this.

Back view, S3 came with metal type casing whereas U9X1 are made from plastic. Which make S3 preferable to most people. However, I didn't care so much about this as I prefer to put on casings. 

As a well known brand, Samsung's extra accessories like casings are much more easier to find in the market. U9 should develop cheaper and various cute casings to attract consumer like me. 

I have to say bravo to U9 for the packaging and accessories included in the box. Most local company are very lack in terms of packaging which makes the brand seems cheap and non- commercial. U9 includes every basic accessories needed and even the box designs and earphone are much more stylish compared to Samsung.

As for the weight, Samsung is said to be lighter, but to compared U9X1 doesn't feels heavier at all.

U9X1 came out with two color manufactured which is in Black and Red.

Hardware under the hood

This part  are done by my bro because honestly, I didn't understand most of the technical part but basically this is what he has compared.

Feedback I've been receiving from my bro using this for days is that the battery lifespan is better than S3.

I like the fact that U9X1 have function of dual SIMS as well.

OS SYSTEM

The U9X1 is bare bone Android work and feel like nexus 4-hmm. Good thing or bad you decide;)

Screen 

 (In door, YOUTUBE view)

· Both phone have the same screen spec but if we notice U9X1 are brighter compared to S3.
· For Amoled screen brightness is always an issue this mean U9X1 bright screen will only worked better outdoor.
· However, S3 have sharper view which gives more natural color when it comes to normal real life picture
· Speaker sound seems louder for S3 but the quality aren't far off each other.

CAMERA

This part is my fave where I get to compare camera function. However I won't tell you which I prefer. You can judge for yourself and let me know which you prefer;) Click image to enlarge.

Testing the front cam, I have used beauty shots mode, S3 seems clearer but for U9X1 there's function available for enhancing. 

For the back cam, I've use HDR mode both in superfine quality. U9X1 seems brighter but more define looks achieve with S3. 

I only take outdoor shots with U9X1. Considering the car is moving, the picture quality are not so bad for outdoor shots.

Speed CPU and GPU

Both phone test snap no lag

If we run quadrant benchmark

We see the different, this run 3x time no changes

·         No overclock

·         No modification 

S3 beat U9X1

S3 :5891

U9X1 :3994

I've also run other bench mark to make it a fair fight.

and again S3 beats U9X1. However...this test is not reflection to real world use

On regular use, the U9X1 seems to be a bit slow but not lag 
Though not smooth like S3 either.

S3 is quicker to go through menu .The U9X1 when it comes to install apps seems faster.

I'm not sure if the phone I loan has been preinstall with apps that make the S3 slow.

For Browsing, both quick and easy.

Hardware

The processor for the S3 is much faster compare to U9X1

We have seen the result above

U9X1 missing some key feature as to S3 which have NFC and Samsung human user friendly interface. 

The U9X1 carried it trump card 13mp with 2.0f aperture

This change the game between S3 and U9X1

The 13mp is amazing able to compete with the S4 and other new brand high end phone. 

Video shooting not the greatest, still some issue have to fix.

The camera interface can be better with more feature. Compare to S3 interface and capture faster may due to this 13mp in U9X1.

With the slow CPU and GPU might be the reason it lacking.

Both of this device have the same spec but some better than other. S3 is much faster in a way that the U9X1 just not there yet.U9X1 have better cam but the camera interface and speed is not snap or easy as S3. The price are 10% different that will not affect much .After playing the U9X1,I think it has great camera, S3 is old phone came out maybe in the early 2012. We can see the value different .

Considering, long term investment, if you like more a life camera and compete to the 2013 market, I would suggest U9X1 but if you are not some high tech guy, S3 would be it, due to Samsung have their own reputation.
