{MOVIE REVIEW} THE BOOK THIEF

Hello Beauties,  how's your day? Have you joined the Giveaway? 2more days to go...so hurry up;)

Anyway, today is the day I review movie again..yes, bajet pengkritik filem la konon...Thanks to Nuffnang, yesterday it's movie date again..I'm excited to see this movie because it's related to Life of Pi movie..I love the movie Pi and the tiger as it was so significant to how's life really is...but let's not get carried away by telling you all this.

Similar to Life of Pi, The Book Thief is a story of a young girl named Liesel living life in the era where war is everything. The story started of with a narrator that I assume as death. Death took Liesel as the main character to his story. As the story evolve around Liesel, Death tells how she learn about death through life one by one from moment to moment.

Liseel is a young girl, shy, quiet but very enthusiastic. First death she encountered is the death of her little brother on their way to new adoption parents. As they burried her brother, she couldn't really get what's going on but in her heart she's really sad that she kept the only possession her brother had which is a book. She couldn't read though. As she met her new parents, her first impressions was that her mama was grumpy but her new papa was the best daddy in the world.

The book that she posses holds great value to her as she learn to read when her new papa taught her. She began to love reading. In Nazi era, burning books symbolises the country. But to her, her love for words and books are what she's passionate about especially after knowing Max. Max help her realize in so many ways that life isn't everything about visual. But it's about how we define it in words. As days goes by...death took away almost everyone in her life except for the words that she had learned through life.

I must says that the story doesn't stay in one place. It's not totally boring. But the meaning behinds every little storyline gets jumble up into one main point, which is Death. I believe this movies mostly highlights that 'Death waits for no one' However, I felt it's too deep to relate to the title. Or I just don't understands it. If you don't like sad sappy deep thought kind of movie, then this is not the movie to watch. But if you love inspiring meaningful movie, The Book Thief could be your favorite.

Thanks again to Nuffnang for every opportunity to see great movies! And tonight it's again movie premiere from Nuffnang. But I'm letting my sis Yana review this one. Wait for it ya;)

Till next time. Salam

XOXO
