{OUTING} Malswisse Makeup Class Part 1:Skincare TIPS
Meet our cute tutor for that day Miss Carmen, she looks really sweet..Somehow she's a bit 'garang' too...
Here's what I learn through the first session...I will definitely share everything...so bear with me yaa..
Step by step...
1. Makeup remover
The one that provided was a water based makeup remover. I honestly never ever use makeup remover before this class. I usually use baby wipes. However, Carmen says that using baby wipes will cause friction which makes your face prone to wrinkle...yikes! What a scary facts that I instantly change my routine to makeup remover and cotton pad. As she explained, there are 2 types of makeup remover, which is oil based and water based. I hate oil based makeup remover....it makes my eyes hurts. Again,before that day, I didn't even know there's existence of water- based makeup remover...what a noob! Ever since that day, I love water- based makeup remover. She also reminds that while removing makeup around your eyes, avoid wiping. Just placed your wet cotton pad on your eyelid for 10 seconds and just slowly and gently swipe the eyeliner.
2. Cleansing
Moisture milk cleanser and Deep Cleansing Gel act as a double cleanser. Did you know this?? I don't! All I KNOW IS CLEANSER IS JUST A CLEANSER. Apparently, there's many type of cleanser.Carmen explained, this is the best way to cleanse. And as you clean, go in circular motion with 3 finger upwards.
3.Scrub
Carmen says there are two types of scrub. One of it is scrub with micro-bead which is a leave on scrub. and another one is a scrub that needs to be use along with scrubbing motion. Scrub are recommended use at least once a week but not daily as it can cause damage to skin due to it's texture.
4. Masque
In Malwisse, we've been given to try out hydrating masque. This mask is a bit stinging to my face. But according to Carmen, hydrating mask works well if its stings especially when your complexion is on dehydrated state. Masque should be used at least once a week for extra effect.
5. Toner
Similar to masque, various toner available for every type of face. Toner works as a cleanse and shrinking appearance of pores. These are use after cleanser daily.
6.Serum
As I recalled, serum came out just quite recently. Serum is some kind of concentrated moisturizer that keeps our facial hydrated and repair damaged skin. Serum are thin and really light on face.
7. Moisturizer
Apart from serum, moisturizer is also to keep facial skin hydrated. As you put on makeup material, the material will make our skin dry and prone to breakouts. Hence, moisturizer is important.
8. Sunblock
This is also important. In Malaysia, sunblock is important to prevent from the harmful UV light especially our ozone layer that is thinning everyday, sunburn is easy to attack us. Even in overseas, sunblock is important.
However, this tips may vary for everyone...This is what I learn anyway..Hope this help...
Finishes, Carmen started to teach us simple makeup. Apparently, my technique of makeup is correct..wee...
