World's Hijab Day

Hello beauties^-^ As today is 1st of February, did you know today is the World's Hijab Day?
What is Hijab exactly? To me, it's not purely rely on the fact that we covered our head, but as a whole, covering our bad decisions and intentions. As we wear hijab, it teaches us to be patience towards everything. Physically, when I first wear hijab, it teaches me to be patience in wearing them alone and resist from the common society perception 'alasan' of not to wear hijab that is 'panasla' and so not fashionable..Yes.. I said it once..and I'm ashamed of it...Now, I am truly proud of  my hijab.

Well when you wear hijab it's actually teaches you to not do stuff that is prohibited by God...even if you really wanted to ..you will somehow feel bad about it...and it also teaches me to look decent, act appropriately and take care of my cleanliness. 

I am proud to say that many local celebrities also takes on the journey on wearing hijab and found success along their way...
Datin Norjuma was the first celebrity ever came out with her own hijab line called Adijuma as I recalled. She was never a freehair person since becoming celebrity. Really down to earth and gorgeous especially those eyes.
And of course there's Wardina Saffiyah, Diana Amir and Irma Hasmie, celebrities that started of wearing really daring clothing and since wearing hijab, they are the ones we should be following..They're not wearing hijab for fashion sake but I admire them as they wore them the way a muslimah should. I wish I will be on my way towards appropriate hijab wearing soon too..
And how could I forget mentioning Siti Nurhaliza which has been everyone's darling celebrity..she started to wear hijab slowly by covering half of her hair and now fully covered and has been more beautiful.
And meet Felixia Yeap, a playboy model and a gorgeous blogger that courageously change her look from sexy to wearing hijab as she said she feeled 'safe' wearing it. I adore her for being brave eventhough she's still not a muslim, she wore her hijab as if it is a crown and proud of it...I prayed that Allah will give her signs so that she'll fully become a muslimah. 

Islam is truly am a beautiful wonderful religion but very often misunderstood by others as they were looking at people who were muslim physically but not as a whole.

If Felixia Yeap can, what's our reason as muslimah for not wearing Hijab? Even if we were, is our way is the right way?Whatever it is...only Allah can judge us...so don't wear hijab because you're ashamed, wear hijab because you're proud of it. InsyaAllah.. Allah will guide you through. Happy Hijab day everyone.

Hello pretty awesome! I bet some of you already know that I went to Terrenganu for a friend/ blogger/ workmate wedding...
