& PINTUMERAH TO UNVEIL KUALA LUMPUR’S FIRST 360 BAZAAR
Duriana, Malaysia’s biggest mobile marketplace app and PINTUmERAH, the
annual organizers of the Kuala Lumpur Vintage Festival will be joining forces
to present one of the biggest bazaars to ever grace our cityscape: 360 Kuala
Lumpur.
The event will take place at the spacious open-air venue of MaTiC Lanai
on the 5th and 6th of April from 11am to 9pm. Seasoned
bazaar organizers PINTUmERAH, will be looking to replicate the success of their
last event, The Kuala Lumpur Vintage Festival (KLVF), which managed to draw in
a crowd of over 12,000 visitors last year.
360 Kuala Lumpur will host over 200 vendors across a spectrum of
categories from fashion to pre-loved to handcrafts and accessories to a wide
mouth-watering selection of food vendors. This is a first-time collaboration
between PINTUmERAH and Duriana, a social selling app, which merges functions of
Instagram and eBay into one shopping platform. Along with a wide selection of
vendors, Duriana will be awarding hourly rewards to guests who download their
app at the bazaar entrance.
The bazaar aims to celebrate our city’s diversity and is expected to
attract shoppers of all types from vintage collectors to savvy bargain hunters
with a projected patronage of 10,000 people over the two days.
ABOUT DURIANA
Duriana is a new mobile-first, location-based, peer-to-peer marketplace
app with offices in Malaysia and Singapore. Unlike existing classified
e-commerce systems such as Mudah and Lelong, Duriana positions itself as a
social selling app, which allows uers to discover a world of amazing products
for sale – from their friends & neighbors, trendy blogshops or cool local
shops they have yet to discover. The app is available for download on iPhone,

ABOUT PINTU MERAH
Founded in 2006, PINTUmERAH started off as a clothing retail shop based
in Seremban and grew into an event management and antique trader business. In
2011, they hosted their first event, the Kuala Lumpur Vintage Festival (KLVF)
at the MIA Art Centre. In the following year, they went on to organize three
successful events: The 1st Kuala Lumpur Bundle Fest, The Changcuters
Live in KL and their second Kuala Lumpur Vintage Festival. In its third
installment, the Kuala Lumpur Vintage Festival returned in full force with more
vendors and a bigger venue at MaTiC Lanai on Jalan Ampang. In 2014, PINTUmERAH collaborated
with Duriana, CYCLEWORLD Magazine & CCAM to manage street bazaar events.
PINTUmERAH aims to hold their Kuala Lumpur Vintage Festival in August this
year.
