The Big Bad Box Sale; Book Crazies at MIECC, Mines

We just wanted to share our weekend with you girls...Facts, we love books but reading them are just too much of time consuming...but we don't think buying them is a crime right? Did you know about this book fiesta? Well, it's our pleasure to share with you girls how it is..

Big bad box sale is currently ongoing in MIECC,Mines in the area of Sri Kembangan. Before this, Bookxcess went crazy brilliant by doing 24-7 book sale, yes! books sale everyday and night for 10 days non-stop..now they got another genius brilliant idea by doing big box sale!
What is big bad box sale? It's pretty simple. It's like a buffet. You take what you like and put it in the box and bring home. Basically, like buffet, you pay per head...the big bad box sale are paid by box. You can even use your 'Baucer Buku 1Malaysia' here.
They have two box size, the small one and the large one. 
The small and big size have huge different in the size but the box cost almost the same. Hence, as a smart consumer, we decided to take the big box.
Yeah...the design of the box are pretty cool. We recommended to buy the box after you have choose your books. Because it's pretty troublesome to carry around the box. And after pay, the box are taken care at your own risk.
 They have amazing selections of books, most of them are in English. The categories are varies as I recalled there were books for
  • Cooking
  • Arts and Crafts
  • Photograph
  • Travel
  • Reference
  • Fiction
  • Young adult
  • Children
  • Activities
  • Malay
  • Brains and Puzzles
  • Self Help
  • Biography
  • Magazines
  • and lot lots more.
I honestly thinks a box isn't enough if you love books so much. So, after you have done pick and choose your books, you'll need to check out by showing your paid receipt and seal the box tightly.
The rules clearly states that you have to close the flap tightly before you can checkout. Hence, we tried so hard to fit any books inside..
We usually carried dumbbells, but the box are to heavy to carry by our own. So this is how we do it. I bought slippers just for the sake of carrying this box! no joke. Guess what's inside?
 As for me, I just took a lot of biography, beauty and self- help books...I love motivational and photos books..LOL lazy bum to read a lot. As for Yana, she bought chicken soup a lot because she's in TESL, she believe chicken soup is great for your soul. As for mom, she bought a lot of cook book. I think definitely worth buying cook book here as all are high quality books.
We think it's a great bargain, As we counted, it's total of 40 plus books worth about RM200 considering it's already cheap!
