PART1: Day at the Malaysia International Shoe Festival (MISF) & Monopod (PICTURE OVERLOAD)

Hello pretty awesome! How's your day? I know i know, it's like cliche to talk about monopod since it's the hot new item people talk about..So I'm gonna combine...shoes and monopod ...Recently, we have been invited to Exclusive Preview of XES Signature in MISF. Because of this, we get to know the existence of MISF. Yes, we never knew MISF exist if it wasn't for the invitation.

As we came to know about, we had load of fun. Basically, MISF had been held annually, and 2014 was the 5th. MISF is Asia's hub for regional and international shoe professionals.It is the ultimate platform for showcasing the region's top talents, leading brands and biggest manufacturers.

MISF was held on 27th to 30th March 2014 from 10.30am to 8.30pm. in Hall 2, PWTC, KL..It was quite small space but pretty awesome where every vendor have their own awesome showcase.

This giant stiletto shoe with Swarosvski Crystal is 5-foot tall! Such a breathtaking piece.

Although the venue is small, list of brands participating goes on and on. There's

They even showcased bizarre Gaga shoes.

I was quite freak out to see the shoe with ponytail hair.Yikes! What a talent though.

Since MISF is associated with Tourism Malaysia, there's also booth emphasizing on Malaysia's traditional 'Terompah' . Terompah is origin from Malaysia, specifically Melaka if I'm not mistaken. They said it's origin from Baba Nyonya culture. Usually made of wood, the sound when you wear 'terompah' is easily identified.

Another eye- catching piece was at the main stage, where they made Malaysia's most iconic structure. There's KLCC, KL Tower, Rafflesia and Hibiscus made fully from shoes!

Talk about iconic, one of the highlights in MISF is the Tourism Ambassador of Malaysia . Professor Datuk (Dr) Jimmy Choo!

Still can't believe that we took a selfie with Jimy Choo! At first it was kind of embarrassing to ask Jimmy Choo for selfie.

Here's how we got to selfie with Jimmy.

Jimmy: (Looking at the monopod) What's that thing?

Me: It's a monopod for selfie thingy, it works like this. Click!

Jimmy: (Layan jela bdk2 nie)....haha

MISF also held shoe fashion show!

What is a shoe without the box? Unfortunately we forgot to take the creative shoe box picture:(

I can't believe Malaysia had numerous talented people.

Instead of smoking, making shoes is the way to go...Love it!

Oh yaa...Aside from generous discounts, they also have charity event held.

For an awesome day, of course we took a lot of selfie. This is actually our first time using monopod. Monopod have been increasingly become a trend! Hence, we just had to buy one. That day, monopod had became ice breaker between us and friends and strangers. It was a memorable indeed:)

I know, they are all just superb gorgeous. So if you're interested to buy your own monopod, I found a place in IG that sells extremely great price.
