STAND FIRM, STAY FIRM Photography Contest

Hello pretty awesome!

Today I would love to share a photo contest happening currently... You know that I love photo taking? so why not enter this contest...moreover, the reason I engaged so much in this contest is because they also wanted us girls to show the power of being a woman.

In the olden days, we girls often laid the same path. Grew up, married a decent guy and stay home. There's nothing wrong with that though...I considered housewife as a strong woman indeed. Imagine being the CEO to your own home. The dishes, the clothing, the furniture, the meal and everything is by you. No worker and no one to help out. Let alone that, woman nowadays, also have to go to work to help out the husband.

I myself grew up observing how my mom went through all of this. For 55 years she stand firm and stay firm to raise the family with my dad. Sometimes, she even sacrifice her own desire to fulfill our need. She's truly an inspiration to me. As busy as she was, she kept her beauty regime as simple as she could yet she looks young than ever.

She pretty much holds the Shizens believe without even realizing it.

Shizens believes everyone has a unique natural beauty that should not be concealed but to be revealed. 

Shizens is here to enhance the confidence level of everyone in revealing their uniqueness.

Love the sayings as it reflects our blog motto so much!

So, as I was thinking over and over to join this. I get excited that I submitted 3 photos concurrently and thinking of submitting more and more someday..

The theme that they suggest for this photo contest is quite easy yet challenging as it requires sincere, devotions and skillful act of photo taking.

A picture worth thousands word, but what resemble these words?

Strong emotions, Human & Feminine

To my understanding I came up with three..You can submit as many photo as you like too...

'strong emotions; I use to be the shy girl, the one that left behind, the one that cries herself to sleep. As I grew up, I build confidence by realizing that dreams does came true with braveness. Brave takes you far as you can be. Ignore negativity, build up confidence stand firm and stay there, firmly.'

'Feminine; Marylin Monroe is iconic for feminine figure. She does everything with grace yet so quirky in doing it. Being feminine doesn’t have to be normal, doesn’t have to be boring. It’s all about your inner that shine on the physical side. You being you is crazy and pretty enough than you being others. So stay put and be out of the box.'

For this contest, you have two category you may submit your entry in.

For each photo, you are allow to submit in one category only.

For professional photographer,

• Photograph shall be taken using compact camera, DSLR camera (or of its similar)
• Minimum image size is: 5MB
• Studio photography with lighting are allowed

And as for mobile user, you have two way to submit your photo.

• Must be taken by a smartphone or any other mobile devices.
• To take part via Instagram, hashtag #standfirmstayfirm on your photo
• You may also submit your photos via this website

And in any category, you are allow to submit as many photo as you like.
