{RECIPE} The easiest & Simplest Durian/ Any Crepe recipe

Hello pretty awesome! It's been a while since I post any recipe sharing...Since, it's Ramadhan, this is the most suitable time to share recipe so that you can make do during break fast. And you probably can figure out that I'm a dummy when it comes to cooking. So, fret not, this will be the easiest recipe ever.

Some don't use coconut milk for their crepe. But in mine, I find that it's easier to use coconut milk to get smooth texture. So, along the way I'll be sharing some tips on easier making crepe and if you have yours, do share too^-^

Here's what you need in making the crepe:
  • 250gm of plain flour

  •  Normal salt

  • 500mls of Coconut milk/ santan

  • 2 eggs
  • 50 mls of water depending on how diluted you need the barter to be.
  • and food coloring

Basically, blend all together and sifts the batter to get smooth texture. You're aiming for a semi-fluid texture that is not too runny or too stiff. Easy enough to transfer to a pan and to control it's flow.
Yes, mind you, do not add oil and use non- stick pans. Oil may cause the batter to have bubbly weird texture. Before adding the batter, make sure your pans are heated well with medium heat. Do not use high heat because crepe can easily burn. You don't need to flip the batter, both side will cook in time. The smooth surface (the upper one) should be the outer layer of a crepe.

As for the filling:
  • Use Durian or Oreo or milo even chocolate depending on your taste.
  • Whip the whip cream, do not add sugar if it's already sweet.
Place the filling half whip cream half durian on the center and fold crepe four side covering the filling making it look like a pillow.
and there you have it! your own crepe. I use red coloring cause I love mine to be in pink. Do share yours. Do ask if you have any question. Crepe can last for 2 days, but if you use durian, make sure to refrigerate if you're planning to keep it. Have fun!

Summary of the ingredients:
  • 250gm of plain flour
  • 500mls of coconut milk
  • 50mls of water*
  • A pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs

Fillings:
  • Durian/ oreo or any flavors you desire
  • Whipping cream

Important utensils:
  • Blender
  • Non- stick pans
  • Sifter

Till next time, Salam
XOXO
