{REVIEW} Elisha Coy BB Cream showdown
Hello pretty lovely awesome! Raise your hands if your're a huge BB Cream fans? Well, I am. Call me makeup freak, but I often use BB, CC and foundation in one time. Yup, I have quite rough complexion. So, I need all the help I can get. BB Cream stands for Beauty balm, it acts some sort like a tinted moisturizer but with a little bit more coverage whereas CC stands for Color Correcting which acts as a booster, lighten your skin tone and protect it too. However, you'll need foundation also for full coverage. Now, you see why all those BB's, CC's and foundation goes together. Oh ya, even DD is available. But let's not make this entry confusing because today, I'm going to focus on BB Cream by this particular brand.
As you might already know, there's a huge competition between BB's among beauty brand. And one of the best is by ElishaCoy. FYI, COY stands for Creation of Youth. By now, you might figured out that ElishaCoy are a naturalism cosmetic brand delivering moisture energy to the skin with skin-friendly vegetable ingredients as a base. You don't even have to worry about how safe this product is because they even have cert from FDA and others significance. Currently, I have three BB Cream from ElishaCoy to be review.
I'm pretty excited when it came. I have to say, the most prominent part about Elisha Coy is the packaging and the scent that I love! Most BB's would smell plain and awful but this one are just fantastic. So without further ado, let's see one by one before we get to the showdown;)
Elisha Coy Premium Gold Mineral BB is a nutrition- rich caviar, royal- jelly extract and mineral- rich deep sea water. It also contains gold ingredients like Camellia Japonica Flower Extract and Trehalose care for skin trouble. For whitening and anti- wrinkles, this BB has marine collagen and amino acid complex that improve skin elasticity too. It is a low irritating BB Cream that does not contain organic UV absorbing agent at all. The best part is, it contains ECOCERT- awarded organic lavender extract and organic Camomile extract. And ya, this cream also protects from harmful UVA and UVB.
If you have extreme sensitive skin or hates wearing makeup because you're not too comfort. Or afraid you ended looking like a clown, then Elisha Coy Always Nuddy BB24 is just for you. Apart from having long- lasting effect, it helps a lot in covering up but with lightweight feeling on your skin.
Lastly,is the Elisha Coy Always Triple BB that is multifunctional which protects skin from the sun, improves wrinkles and whitens skin. That's why it called Triple BB. Use either as makeup base as I do or even as foundation. Of course, it has broad spectrum UV Filters that protects against both UVA and UVB. W/S formula also acts as water/ perspiration resistant and supplies essential moisture and nutrients to skin.
Without comparison, the packaging are equally attractive and easy to use. The cream texture also are easy to apply. It spreads evenly and easily absorbs to skin. And the smell, the smell, the smell are just gorgeous. Now let's see all of the BB's in action.
Sorry, I try to put equal amount for each test so you can totally compare. I think every BB's serve it purpose. The Always Nuddy seems natural blended, and the Premium Gold Mineral gives this extra golden sheer and glowy and Triple BB seems matte and had the most coverage. But I don't just believe till I test it on the face. Few months back, an experts tells me that your blended cream is totally different if you test it on your hands compared on your face actually. She said that hands is especially different when it came to it's color tone and texture. Here's how it works on my face.
The first one is without any cream BTW. Ok, if I had to choose, I have to go with the triple BB. Especially for uneven skin tone like mine, Triple BB offers great coverage. But if I'm going for a sporty day, I might choose the most natural looking cream like Always Nuddy. And if I'm going for dinner, I might choose Triple BB mix with a little of Gold Mineral for that extra glow. Overall, I don't feel heavy or weird at all applying all three of them. I love that it's easily absorbs and you only need a small pea size amount to achieve it's effect. Price wise, I totally think it's worth every dime! Tell me what's you fave?
