Hello pretty awesome! Today is the day that I'm going to review this awesomeness wish list item of mine. I know it's been long - time since I bought this. It's been a month or two or three to be exact, it took me a week to master using this and a month to fall in love with it. 

I always wanted this since I saw my fave youtuber talked about it. Airbrush foundation had been known in Malaysia, yet it's not something that everyone own because of its nonavailability in the local market and the cost of one kit is equivalent to a month of household goods, so go figure. You could say this is kind of a splurge item of mine but I never regret having this. I was planning to have it someday depending on how easy I could obtain this.And yes! Finally having this is somewhat lucky as suddenly it appears as sale item on Mysale. Thanks to my dearest friend Nabilah, I was able to get my hands on this. It's a coincidence that I have extra cash on that particular time. So I guess it was meant to be mine after all. Muahaha

I guess I should stop blabbering and start my main entry agenda. Basically, many- many years ago, makeup industry has evolve and the existence of foundation in basic makeup is undeniably important. Through time, there are various creation of foundation in terms of different type, color, and coverage. A good foundation should be able to mask all the ugliness and enhance appearance without making a mess at the end of the day. My definition on foundation definitely sums up Airbrush system.

In the little black box, you'll find everything you need in achieving perfect face canvas.

I love that they provide complete set instead of forcing us to buy extra this and that like some Airbrush system. In the box, you're provided with

The DVD is the basic guideline on how to apply the airbrush system. The main key in using this is practice. You have your guidebook which shows you all the imperfections that you can cover up like 

• Bags under the eyes
• Acne
• Wrinkles
• Uneven Skin Tone

The most important part of this Airbrush system would be familiarizing in turning on / off and controlling the spray throttle on the stylus.

The stylus should be held like pen or makeup brushes while controlling the spray throttle which has roughly has 3 spray forces. Best spray application can be obtained by pulling back on the button between the lightest and middle. From my experience,you'll find yourself become impatience with controlling the throttle and trying to make circular motion but as you get use to it, it's easier and it's a fact that you will only feel almost like nothing stick on your skin. But as you when back and forth repeatedly, you will be happy with the flawless result. Other than being patience on controlling the throttle, you should also keep about a stylus from spray point to achieve even result. Bear in mind that using stylus is almost the same as you're using your brushes. Hence, always keep the hand moving in CIRCULAR MOTION.

As you called it a system, Luminess Air Heiress came with it's own Oil- free , water based cosmetics. You'll have full set of face cosmetics which is

The fun part would be on how to apply?

First of all, it's about finding your perfect shade. Out of 4 shades given, try all the shade on the cheek and choose the most closest shade to your skin. When you finally found the perfect shade, start off with cleansed face and start airbrushing. I know it's hard to imagine without clear picture on it. So, here's a video on it. Enjoy!

Cleaning of stylus should be done each time you use it. Or at least, in my case, rinse it off with warm water. This is how the stylus looks like when you dismantle. In cleaning process, you'll need cotton, cotton tip and warm water to be filled in the bottle.

Airbrush system is a system that enable you to do all sorts of face structure. From having just a flawless face, you can also do body tanning, shading and brightening and slimming! Well, illusion-ly. My first impression on Airbrush system is that I think it's hard and time consuming makeup routine. But as I practice few times, I find that it's better than using brushes. Same goes with using brushes, you need cleaning too. Handling the stylus is actually easy as you're holding your pen. The foundation squirt out like a gush of air that is soo light on face. I'm not sure you'll get bad reaction using the foundation provided because it's water- based. However, if you happen to have extreme sensitive skin, I would recommend trying this first on small portion on your face or hand. I love the formula because you can choose either to have light or heavy coverage depending on how much drops you put in. So far, this foundation lasted quite long time. And if you decide to make it a little matte look, I use face powder afterwards. But, you may need time for the foundation to dry. As for the blusher,the color provided suits every skin tone in my opinion. Like I said before, the intensity depends on how many drops you wanted. I also use the glow and the bronzer. The glow to me is great. You'll just need two drops of it for you whole face if you're going for bright sunny look. As for the bronzer, I'm not a big fan of it because of its really shimmery effect. Overall, I would recommend buying this if you're a hardcore makeup person or a person that needs makeup everyday like me. It would also suits for someone that need flawless makeup for a photo shoot or something. I would not suggest this to a beginner, because using this needs hand that are use to makeup- ing, It would be a waste of money. The downside to this is that, you'll find it hard to find the refill because not many are sold in the store or at least in Malaysia. The consistency of the foundation that could be use with the airbrush system is only water and not even semi- liquid type. I know, cause I try out of curiosity. I would say, one bottle of 7.5mls foundation would last you about 3 months if you use it everyday with medium coverage which is 4 drops. So, be prepare to spend when it's finishes. Otherwise, if this is on your wishlist, you should go for it too! You can see how glowy my face look unedited ok..
