{REVIEW} Super comfy contact lens from Supermodels Secrets & Safety tips
Hello pretty awesome! I'm going to post a Raya entry soon! Yay or nay? Anyway...today I'm gonna share with you girls another secret of mine for big dolly eyes!
I have talked about contact lens before and that was high end brand. You may expect a little bit expensive lens if you shop there. Frankly, I'm scared of super cheap contact lens cause I heard many bad tragedy happen to random people. Before that, I don't care much about it. I even wore pasar malam cheap lens brand. Not to say all pasar malam brand can't be trusted. It's just that you have to be smart in choosing the right one. I say it once and again. Beauty does not mean you have to suffer.
Thanks to Supermodels Secrets, I found new favorite contact lens.
They are just adorable super sweet shop I ever known.
As claimed by SS, they are 100% originally from Korea and you can expect cute dolly eyes wearing them.
Mine is in grey. They have quite few colored lens that you can choose from and plenty of power range. The best part is that most of them are more than 15mm diameter which is perfect to achieve big baby round eyes. And replacement period are as long as one year. Those are the big points I look out for when finding contact lenses.
The big black round edge also play roles in making your eyes pops.
See, you can totally checkout the obvious different.
Okay, as I mentioned before that I'm a freak when it comes to safety of wearing contact lenses. Simply because your eyes are valuable. You wouldn't want to damage it for stupid clumsy reason.
So, pardon me for sharing few safety tips on contact lenses.
- Discoloration of lens or weird sedimented saline might indicate contaminated lens. Discard lens when you have to encounter this.
- Avoid using the same old case for new contact lens, if you have no choice, make sure you rinse thoroughly with saline to clean the case,
- Touch lens when your hands are clean. The best way to clean your hands is with soap and water and again rinse the finger that you're touching your lens with saline. Hand sanitizer can be useful too but some might be irritating contacted with eyes.
- Avoid using the saline that is pre-soak in the bottle because it may irritate eyes.
- Soak lens at least few hours before wearing to make the texture soft and get rid of potential harmful chemical from previous saline.
- Wear it comfortably, if you find your eyes gets irritated and reddish and even teary, take it off.
- Avoid wearing more than 8 hours cause it may dries up the eyes and ulcerated the cornea, also avoid sleeping with contact lens for the same reason.
- Keep track of the time you should discard your lens. Change saline that soak the lens at least once a week even when you're not using them to avoid bacteria growing.
- Don't ever use other fluid to soak your contact lens because the component may damage the lens.
