{GADGET REVIEW + PHOTOS} Economical version perfect selfies cam: Altek Cubic Camera

I've been into gadgets lately and I'm dying to share this awesome gadget. I kind of taking a chance on this gadget since there's not so much review out there on this gadget. Basically, this gadget is China made gadget (I think), it's like a cheaper alternative for a selfies camera if you're heard of Sony smart lens or the Hero action camera. It's a camera lens which connected to your smart phone and enable you to take photo with your phone.

The cool thing about this is that no more timer needed and you could take photos by view on your phone and with just one click from afar.

This cute Altek cubic camera is smaller compared to smart lens but works almost as good. Inside the box they've included everything you need. Do watch my youtube video to see my unboxing of this altek cubic and also a demo on it. Apologies in advanced for the bad audio:)

They have this in few color choices like plain silver, gold, white, blue,yellow, green and even in Hello Kitty edition. As I was looking around online. I decided to buy the princess pink color which is cheaper compared to the Hello Kitty edition. What can I say I love pink...Hello Kitty edition always came a little bit pricey. Can't blame the cute look though. If you're looking for this, there's few online shop that sells this like Lazada, Lelong and also  IPmart (if you're in Malaysia). Some camera shop also sells this in much higher price. Somehow, you should be looking to buy this around RM200- RM250 as a smart buyer.

As mentioned in the video, it is small as my palm or a lot smaller. The dimensions are 52.5X45X26mm to be exact and weight approximately 65g with battery included.

The size of image you could take with this camera is just wonderful which is 13.2MP and I just can't tell you how satisfied I am to have this as good as the Sony smart lens since my sister have it and I already do some comparison. You can also take videos no longer then 29minutes in total with full HD quality. It even has built- in flashlight with auto ISO which Sony Lens doesn't have. Hence, enable you to take photos at night time. Below are some of photos I took with Altek Cubic camera in few day and night setting. Click on the photos to zoom in.

I love that it's fast sharing as it's connected via Wifi. All you have to do is download the application "Cubic camera" to your smart phone from "Google play" or "App Store" provided you have Android 4.0 and above or iOS6 and above on your smart phones.

The device also came with SD Card slot for extra image and video storage. It uses internal battery which you can simply recharge with USB cable provided.

Overall, I would totally recommend this awesome gadget as it's really good in terms of the price and photos quality. It's also compact and small and easy to connect. The only lack that I could detect is that it gets hang occasionally depending on the device you're connected with(I think) and the video length is too short. Nevertheless, its really convenience and light to be carry around and even easy to placed to your monopod or tripods. I especially love the image quality and the availability of flashlight and autofocus which is awesome for night shooting. The video quality also not bad for a short duration. The battery lifespan is consider good as it enables you to take about 100 photos in continuous phase. I only wish that it has more option on the apps like editing and sharing option maybe. Few minor details that I love is the packaging which looks very expensive and proper.
